1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging with Floor Designs for estimates, purchases, or installation services, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all customers, whether services are scheduled online, by phone, or in person.

2. Scope of Services

Floor Designs provides:

• Flooring sales (LVP, hardwood, carpet, tile, etc.)

• On-site measurements and estimates

• Installation services

• Subfloor preparation (when agreed upon)

All services will be outlined in a written estimate, proposal, or invoice.

3. Estimates & Measurements

• Estimates are based on visible conditions at the time of inspection.

• Final pricing may change if unforeseen conditions are discovered (e.g., subfloor damage, moisture issues, structural concerns).

• Additional work will require customer approval before proceeding.

4. Payment Terms

• A deposit may be required before materials are ordered or work begins.

• Final payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Late payments may result in additional fees or delays in service.

Floor Designs reserves the right to suspend or cancel work due to non-payment.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Customers must provide at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

• Deposits may be non-refundable if materials have already been ordered or work has been scheduled.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

• Provide clear access to the work area

• Remove furniture, personal belongings, and valuables unless otherwise agreed

• Ensure utilities (electricity, water) are available

• Disclose known issues such as moisture, structural problems, or prior damage

Failure to meet these requirements may result in delays or additional charges.

7. Installation Conditions

• Flooring installation is performed according to industry standards.

• Variations in color, texture, and pattern are normal and not considered defects.

• Minor transitions, height differences, or trim adjustments may be required.

8. Subfloor & Moisture Conditions

• Floor Designs is not responsible for pre-existing subfloor issues, including:

  • Moisture problems

  • Uneven surfaces

  • Structural deficiencies

• Moisture testing may be recommended but does not guarantee future performance.

• Additional preparation work will be quoted separately.

9. Warranty Disclaimer

• Manufacturer warranties apply to flooring materials.

• Installation labor warranties (if provided) will be outlined in writing.

• Floor Designs does not warranty:

  • Damage from moisture, flooding, or environmental conditions

  • Improper maintenance or cleaning

  • Wear and tear, scratches, dents, or misuse

10. Limitation of Liability

Floor Designs is not liable for:

• Pre-existing conditions in the home or subfloor

• Delays caused by suppliers, weather, or unforeseen issues

• Indirect or consequential damages

Liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service provided.

11. Third-Party Products & Services

Floor Designs may recommend third-party products or services (e.g., inspectors, moisture testing). We are not responsible for their performance or findings.

12. Right to Refuse or Stop Work

Floor Designs reserves the right to refuse or stop work if:

• Unsafe conditions are present

• Payment terms are not met

• Conditions differ significantly from initial assessment

13. Website Use

By using our website (www.floordesigns.net), you agree not to:

• Misuse content or attempt unauthorized access

• Submit false or misleading information

All website content is the property of Floor Designs.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and are effective immediately.
